Privacy

Privacy, in plain language.

Aesthetic Index Canada is a clinic growth platform with a public marketplace. It collects limited business contact information when someone asks to claim a clinic profile. Marketplace research may also use publicly accessible business websites, public listings and official Canadian government sources.

Public-source information

Business names, locations and listed services may be summarized from public sources. We link to the supporting source and distinguish first-party business information from other public listings.

Clinic claim requests

When you submit a claim, we store the clinic identity, business email, any optional direct appointment booking URL you provide, the page where the request started, campaign attribution, submission time, and review status. We do not ask you to resubmit a clinic website or Google profile already linked in the marketplace. Earlier claim requests may also contain a booking-system answer collected by the previous form. New claim requests do not ask for that answer. A claim and any submitted booking URL remain pending until manually reviewed and do not transfer control of a listing. An approved request creates a limited clinic-owner record linking the reviewed business email to that profile. The public marketplace may display the clinic slug, Owner verified status and verification date; it does not publish the owner email or claim record.

Zenome redirects and conversion events

After saving a claim request, you may optionally visit Zenome. The destination includes campaign parameters identifying Aesthetic Index and the clinic listing. We also record limited profile views, call actions, website visits, booking starts and Zenome outbound clicks. Profile views are deduplicated once per browser session where browser storage is available. These events contain the clinic listing and destination category or host, not search terms, treatment selections, medical details, names, phone numbers or payment-card information.

Visitor location summaries

To understand which Canadian markets the marketplace reaches, Aesthetic Index records one public-site visit per browser session where session storage is available. The network platform may provide an approximate city, province or region, and two-letter country code. We store that coarse location with the entry page and time, but do not store the visitor’s IP address, precise coordinates, name, email, device fingerprint, search terms or treatment interests. Authorized administrators see aggregated location counts for the previous 30 days.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics helps us understand page visits, referral sources, browser and device categories, and approximate city, region and country trends. The Google tag runs across the website and may set analytics cookies. Google may use a visitor’s IP address when deriving general geographic information, but Aesthetic Index does not receive or store the IP address or precise GPS coordinates through Google Analytics. Analytics reports are not combined with clinic claim fields, business emails, search terms, treatment interests, medical information or payment-card information.

Growth Snapshots

Authorized administrators can prepare a clinic Growth Snapshot from aggregate profile views and contact actions. A booking start means someone selected a reviewed outbound booking link; it does not prove that an appointment was completed. Growth Snapshots include operational profile-completeness guidance, not a clinical-quality score, patient record or editorial-ranking factor.

Clinic invitations and email preferences

Aesthetic Index may research a clinic’s publicly displayed business email on its first-party Contact page or another public business page. We store the clinic, email, exact source URL, source type, review date, eligibility status and whether an accompanying notice declined unsolicited messages. These contact records are restricted to administrators and are not displayed on public clinic profiles. A saved address is eligible for a profile invitation only when the invitation is relevant to the clinic’s business and the publication review found no accompanying opt-out notice.

For each reviewed invitation, we also store the contact basis, provider acceptance status and unsubscribe preference. Every invitation identifies Aesthetic Index and includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribed addresses are placed on a suppression list and cannot receive future clinic invitations through the outreach tool.

Use, access and retention

Claim, owner, booking-connection, public business-contact and clinic-invitation information is used to review ownership interest, contact the business, maintain the marketplace, publish approved direct booking links and prepare clinic activity summaries. It is not sold. Administrative access is restricted to an authorized reviewer. Pending and reviewed claim, contact or invitation records may be retained for up to 24 months for follow-up, compliance, fraud prevention and operational records, unless a longer period is required by law or an active business relationship. Suppression records may be retained longer so an unsubscribe request continues to be respected.

Your choices

You may retry a failed claim request. After a successful request, you may optionally visit Zenome through a separate link. To request access, correction or deletion of submitted claim information before a public Aesthetic Index mailbox is activated, submit the affected profile’s claim form using the same verified business email. The reviewer will confirm identity before acting. Internal administrator addresses are not public contact channels.

Third-party services

Google processes website analytics information, and Resend processes clinic-invitation email delivery information for Aesthetic Index. Zenome, linked clinic websites, Google Business Profiles and other external sites have their own privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information to them.
